Popcaan dishes out his first single of 2023 “we caa done”
For most artists, signing to a major label or international label, they often have challenges with their sound changing or the struggle to reach or keep up with a new audience, not Popcaan, since signing to OVO a couple years ago, all it seems has been a big change to him has been reaching a new audience as the Jamaican artist has been beyond consistent.
Popcaan has dropped two projects since joining the OVO time which are Vanquish 2019 and Fixtape 2020 and is already gearing up for third, his sound has evolved naturally but it hasn’t been drastic and is still authentic and identifies heavily with his Jamaican roots and culture.
We Caa done is meant to usher in his ready to dish out third project under OVO “ Great Is He” and the Drake assisted single is nothing short of an earworm, it comes with the video and even has cameos from A listers including KD.
