MIKE Unveils Tracklist for Landmark 10th Album 'Showbiz!' Alongside Understated Visuals for 'Bear Trap'

Mike Showbiz
At just 26, New York underground rapper MIKE is on the cusp of a remarkable milestone: the release of his tenth album, Showbiz!. This achievement is all the more impressive considering his relatively young age and the fact that many rappers twice his age have half as many albums under their belt. When Showbiz! drops on January 31st, MIKE will join an exclusive club of artists who have reached double-digit album releases before turning 30.

MIKE has unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming album, Showbiz!, accompanied by a characteristically understated video for the lead track, “Bear Trap.” The song features his signature dense, laid-back flow paired with a soulful, lo-fi loop. The video, set in a laundromat, showcases tight close-ups of coin-operated toy machines, adding to the track’s down-to-earth atmosphere. The song concludes with a heartfelt voicemail from MIKE’s father, reinforcing the genuine, relatable vibe that has defined his music career.
