YSL co-founder Mondo regrets his previous statement, feels bad for insinuating Gunna snitched on Young Thug.

Mondo took to Instagram earlier this week to issue a correction, acknowledging he was mistaken when he accused Gunna of snitching on Young Thug to secure a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.

Mondo wrote on Instagram. “I’m man enough to say I should’ve never spoken about the Gunna situation because technically he didn’t rat.He just kinda folded under pressure & should’ve just stayed down with his mans till everything was over cause all the originals know he ain’t did nothing wasn’t even around from the beginning.”

He continued by insinuating that someone else told on Young thug. “So he wasn’t going to do no real time regardless I feel bad cause now a n**a who literally is a real live rat running around the city getting glorified & smiling like he ain’t just send multiple n*as to jail. I was so mad & hurt at the same time that my brother going through this shit after he turned a lot of n**as up. That’s the only reason I started talking about Gunna but I’m a real n-gga in real life. Ain’t no mystery in my history. I’m not afraid to say when I was wrong & saying Gunna is a rat was dead ass wrong but I can’t take nothing back. I just got to stand on what I said & take whatever comes with it.”

Mondo expressed gratitude towards Gunna for remaining loyal to YSL and releasing his recent albums through the label, acknowledging that his own industry blacklisting due to street ties has limited his ability to promote the brand.

Gunna has gained support from those in Thug’s inner circle, including Thug’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr., who expressed admiration for Gunna and clarified that he hasn’t hindered Thug’s legal case in any way.
