J.I. has grown both lyrically & in decision making because the choice to sample 112’s classic “It’s Over Now” is certified genius, the New york Native doesn’t fail to rep where he’s from and in NY rapper style transforms an old classic to modern day bop.

Ever since releasing “Welcome To GStarr Vol. 1” back in 2020 it has been uphill for J.I. with the rapper constantly rolling out new music and projects going from “Young & Restless Vol. 1 Baby Don ” to his “Hood Life Krisis series 1, 2 & 3” which he released the 3rd installment in 2022 and has been doing big collaborations all over the world ever since, fans are probably expecting an afrobeat remix soon.
